One of the most creative and reliable music series in Brooklyn over the past year has been 65Fen on Monday nights at Delroy’s Cafe and Wine Bar in Lefferts Gardens. Curated by Michael Foster, Patrick Breiner, Josh Sinton, Jake Henry, and Adam Hopkins, the series has featured a great variety musicians. It is the combination of a neighborhood series–drawing from so many of the people that live in that neighborhood or in nearby areas such as Ditmas Park or Crown Heights–and musicians living in other parts of New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, or other parts of the East Coast that have made this such a rich series. This coming Monday, December 7, is the one-year anniversary of the series and it will be a celebration of the 100+ sets of music that have occurred there over the past year.
